What is Trees for Tots?
Trees for Tots was born out of a need five years ago when Christmas tree curbside pick-up was discontinued. Currently, City residents have three options to dispose of Christmas trees which have served their festive duty:
For a $10 donation to support the programs of the Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington, register for Trees for Tots! On Saturday, January 6, happy volunteers will pick-up your tree which will be chipped and returned to nature through local naturalization projects at Ignatius Jesuit Centre. Go for a walk in any season to visit your tree in its new home!
Schedule a curbside pick-up from the City of Guelph for $33+HST by calling Solid Waste Resources at 519-767-0598.
Bring your tree to the Waste Resource Innovation Centre at 110 Dunlop Drive, Gate 3, for disposal (no charge).
