Kiwanis Club of Guelph
November 22, 2019
The Kiwanis Club of Guelph have been long-standing supporters of children in our community through their many fundraising and community efforts. In particular, their donations to the Free to Grow and Adopt-A-Family Programs of the Children's Foundation have given more kids the chance to play, learn, grow, feel inspired with hope, and dream of a brighter future for themselves.
Kiwanis is a local organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. They believe that one act of kindness can change the course of a child's life, a belief that is shared by the Children's Foundation. From eradicating diseases to feeding the hungry, Kiwanis has generated millions of smiles around the world.
"We are so grateful for the support of the Kiwanis Club of Guelph," says Karyn Kirkwood, Program Director. "Their mission to enhance our community by supporting children fits beautifully with our mission to empower youth by giving them opportunity to build their skills and capacities for lifelong change. What they do in the community absolutely makes a difference in the lives of children."
