Horseback Riding Lessons Help Young Girl with Anxiety
September 11, 2012
It’s amazing to think about how much of an impact an extracurricular activity can have on a child. For some children, their families don’t have the means to provide them with these life enriching experiences.
For this single mother of three, her daughter would not have had the opportunity to manage her severe social anxiety disorder had it not been for the horseback riding lessons she was funded for through the Free to Play Program.
"Thanks so much you’re just wonderful. I am amazed at how therapeutic this riding has been for my daughter. Whom before starting riding lessons feared people. Would not speak to noone. Was afraid to leave her home. And now I think she has the confidence to have found something she truly is good at.
Thanks to you guys!”
