Canadian Tire Jumpstart

Children's Foundation Benefactor

Canadian Tire Jumpstart has been a partner of the Free to Play Program since 2009. Their funding has been a significant factor in the increase in the number of children funded by Free to Play since that time.
Jumpstart recognized as a Visionary of the Foundation.
The partnership allowed the Children’s Foundation to become the Guelph Jumpstart chapter in 2009 and as well, the Centre Wellington chapter in 2011. This has furthered the goal of the Free to Play Program to make the financial assistance process more simple and accessible by having one point of access for all activities.
At the 2012 Around the World Gala, Jumpstart was recognized as a Visionary of the Foundation for their support over the years. In 2013, Jumpstart moved to the Benefactor level having provided over $100,000 in funding for Free to Play in just 4 years.
"Canadian Tire Jumpstart is dedicated to removing barriers, so children can participate in organized sport and recreation. We see it as equipping kids for life, because participation in organized sport and recreation increases a child’s chance for success
in life. They discover and participate. They gain self-confidence. They develop self-esteem. They learn leadership skills. Their lives become richer. This is the power of Canadian Tire Jumpstart.”
