Tara says:
Every child (and family) deserves the opportunity to experience the great wonders of this world, to feel connected to their community, and see their passions through. The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington continues to foster growth and enrich lives through four key pillars, Adopt-A-Family, Food & Friends, Free to Play, and Scholarships, all of which promote healthy heart, mind, and spirit. Extending the Free to Play Program to an additional 20 Syrian refugee children offers a ripple effect in our community and strengthens connectivity, relationships, and well-being. Having personally been involved in the Adopt-A-Family program, we have seen first-hand how incredible this organization is and how focused they are in transitioning funding into action and action into prosperity, which is why we wholeheartedly believe in this foundation and offer our vote to the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington.
Susan says:
How we treat our young is an indicator of how we will survive as a species. As humans collectively there is nothing more important than the children. The Childrens Foundation addresses not only an immediate need but is far sighted and in harmony with First Nations theology. My grandson (and his little sister) has benefited enormously. The foundation has helped him by providing Tae Kwon Do. The classes give him a much needed positive male role model and teaches him how to be a good person. I vote for The Childrens Foundation. Thank You"
Peter Says:
The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington epitomizes all that is best in Guelph and area philanthropy: a great cause; a strong, passionate and committed Board and staff; hundreds of outstanding volunteers who give their time, treasure and talent unhesitatingly, whenever asked; amazing relationships that connect the Foundation to every corner of the community; and, above all, wonderful results for thousands of children and their families who might otherwise go without. I gave my heart to the Children’s Foundation many years ago, as did so many of us. I most definitely VOTE for the Children’s Foundation!
Pamela says:
Even in our relatively wealthy and fair country and community, there are too many people left behind mainly by poverty. Too many of them are children. The Children’s Foundation is local to my community and is making a significant contribution to righting some of the injustice felt by children there. They really know who needs help and have good projects to provide the kind of assistance that is needed. I have worked on development projects overseas for many years and one thing I have learned is that local organizations and local projects at grassroots community level are the most effective in making a change, especially for children and their future. So I would like the Children’s Foundation to be funded so that they can implement their projects that will help disadvantaged children in my community to see a change in their daily lives and their prospects for the future. Please choose them!
