Wish Fund for Children
The Guelph Wish Fund for Children was founded to provide wishes to children and young people who are terminally ill, suffering from a life threatening disease or who have been critically injured. The organization is made up of all volunteers and to date over 300 wishes have been granted. The Guelph Wish Fund for Children has been supporting the Children’s Foundation for the past 20 years by donating proceeds from their annual Dinner Dance. Over the years, more than $250,000 has been donated to the Children’s Foundation.
At the 2010 Around the World Gala, the Guelph Wish Fund was recognized as a Benefactor of the Foundation for having donated over $100,000 to support children in our community.
