Jan., 2009 - The Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington was fortunate to be chosen by Telus in Stone Road Mall as the recipient of funds raised through their holiday meerkat campaign. Telus sold stuffed Gund meerkats to customers and the proceeds were directed to The Children's Foundation.
The staff went above and beyond and finished as the top selling corporate store in the entire company with their sales of 492 meerkats! As a result, The Children's Foundation received a donation of over $2,500 from the campaign.
