Skyline

Skyline was recognized as the 2011 Corporate Sponsor of the Year by The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington for their tremendous support of children in our community.

The major highlight of Skyline’s support is through their Charity Golf Classic. On September 8th their tournament raised $60,000 to be split between The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington, Onward Willow and Big Brothers Big Sisters Guelph – this is double the total raised in the 2010 tournament.

The $20,000 donation that will make a huge impact on both the Grants Program and Food and Friends. Through the Grants Program, over 50 children will be able to participate in fun and important activities like soccer and hockey this fall. Skyline will also adopt several student nutrition programs at locations near their buildings in both Guelph and Wellington County. This will impact over 1,500 students. The programs that will receive funding are:

• Onward Willows (Breakfast)
• Gateway Public School (Breakfast)
• Ottawa Crescent School (Healthy Basket)
• Paisley Road School (Snack)
• St. John Catholic, Guelph (Snack)
• St. Joseph Catholic, Fergus (Snack)
• J.D. Hogarth, Fergus (Snack)
• Youth Moving Forward, Mount Forest (Breakfast / Lunch)

Along with the support of their tournament, Skyline has been a supporter of several fundraising initiatives including the Live Free Campaign, Adopt-A-Family and the Fore Our Kids Golf Tournament.

By raising funds for the Children’s Foundation, Skyline has provided incredible opportunities for children and families in Guelph and Wellington County.

"We are very impressed by the programs offered by the Children’s Foundation and truly inspired by the impact that these programs have on the children and families in our community. We are proud to do our small part to ensure that every child has their chance to shine and have fun" says Marissa Morettin, Skyline’s Director of Investor Relations.

Thank you to Skyline for helping to put smiles on children’s faces and opportunity into their life.
