June, 2009 - RBC recently recognized Food and Friends for creating a better Canada. From June 21 to 27, RBC celebrated those committed to making their community a better place to live. During the celebration, RBC made a generous donation of $5,000 to Food and Friends.
One of the highlights of the event was that guests were able to meet synchronized swimmer Claire Carver-Dias who won a Bronze Medal in the 2000 Olympic Games and is part of Vancouver 2010 Torch Relay. Carver-Dias signed autographs and posed for photos with her medal and the Olympic Torch.
