Oct. 27, 2011 People’s Credit Unit Grants $2,000 to Food and Friends
Since the inception of the Community Involvement Award eleven years, ago, Peoples Credit Union has awarded $71,000 in donations to local community groups or organizations. This year, the Community Involvement Award will total $5,000 to be shared between two or more applicants.
Food and Friends is very grateful for the award of $2,000, which will go directly to our Shelburne student nutrition programs- providing over 1,500 breakfasts to students who need a healthy start to their day.
