March 19, 2010 United Way Increases Support for Food and Friends
Food and Friends is fortunate to be 1 of 13 programs that will be receiving increased funding from the United Way of Guelph and Wellington this year. The United Way ran its most successful campaign to date in 2009 which raised 2.66 million dollars. The distribution of these funds is based on research into community needs - this year the focus being on 'providing basic needs' and 'creating a better community.
