Every child deserves a bright future

June 27, 2011 Proceeds from the TD Golf Tournament helps provide local children with life enriching opportunities

Wednesday June 22nd was the annual TD Golf tournament, where this year the proceeds came to the Children’s Foundation Grants program. Although there were threats of bad weather, the golfers and volunteers were able to enjoy a beautiful day without rain.

This year with the help of sponsors and golfers, TD Financial raised $15,400 for the Grants program. This money will be able to help at least 50 children in our community attend camp, sports activities or art classes that they otherwise would not have had the chance to enjoy.

We are looking forward to another successful tournament next June!
