Aug 10, 2009 Pablo's World of Cartoons to Host Silent Art Auction
Pablo's World of Cartoons will be hosting a Silent Art Auction and Open House on August 22, 2009 from 11 am until 2 pm. The auction will feature artwork from local artists Brian Fray, Jessica Hoflick, Bonnie Deschenes, Darlene Hartung, Michael Mitter and Pablo Suarez. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington.
Pablo's World of Cartoons hosts after school art programs and summer camps for kids interested in art. The Children's Foundation has funded children's attendance to these programs in the past through the Children's Foundation Grants. The event on the 22nd will also feature face painting, balloon twisting and the opportunity to learn how to draw a cartoon face with Pablo.
Pablo's World of Cartoons is located at 317 Speedvale Ave E in Guelph, in between Metcalfe and Stevenson.
