May 27, 2008 - Fore Our Kids a Success!
The 13th Annual Fore Our Kids Golf tournament was held on May 27th at Victoria Park East Golf Club. A bright sunny day greeted the golfers as they set off for a fun round and a wonderful dinner.
The Fore Our Kids Golf Tournament is held each year to raise funds for The Camp Program of The Children’s Foundation. The Camp Program is specifically designated to provide funds to send children in the care of Family and Children’s Services to Camp. Last year over 400 children were able to enjoy a camp experience that they otherwise would not be able to access.
This year’s tournament raised over $12,000 which was the largest amount ever raised by the event. Thanks to all the participants and sponsors.
